The sculpture of a dragon-headed fish, cited as world's No. 1 dragon
head, was unveiled in mid-July in the picturesque Yuwan Scenic Spot of
Jiangsu's Lianyungang, adding a new landmark view to the scenic spot. A
dragon-headed fish is a dragon with a fish's body. It is said to have
made its first visit to Lianyungang in the late Shang Dynasty (1765BC -
1122BC). The legend of a giant fish turning into a dragon in the East Sea
also came from Yuwan. The 15-meter high sculpture is the largest
dragon-headed fish sculpture in China.
