Chaowai Avenue, Beijing's third largest business center, held an opening
ceremony on Sept. 24. It is another business street besides Wangfujing
and Xidan in the capital. It took over 10 years to complete the
construction. The street is 1.08km long and extends from Dongdaqiao
crossroads in the east to Chaoyangmen Flyover in the west. At present,
the street has more than 2 million square meters of large building
groups, creating another prosperous business center for shopping and
recreational activities.
