www.chinanews.cn 2006-01-23 16:05:42

In front of the counter of the Qilu Gold Shop in Jinan City, a girl was
excited to get a bracelet made of red ropes and gold coins for the Year
of the Dog on January 21. Her parents gave this bracelet to her as a
lunar New Year gift. Gold and silver ornaments as New Year gifts are fast
sellers every year and this bracelet embraces a new fashion this year.
The gold shop introduces gold coins for the Year of the Dog of various
specifications and styles two to 16 grams in weight to replace money
given to children as a lunar New Year gift.
