The 9.44-kilometer-long trestle bridge on the southern bank of Hangzhou
Bay Sea-crossing Bridge is about to complete on Dec. 14th. The Hangzhou
Bay Sea-crossing Bridge is a convenient access for the "Tongjiang-Sanya
Line," an artery connecting Heilongjiang's Tongjiang City and Hainan's
Sanya City, to cross Hangzhou Bay. At present, 9,340 meters of the
trestle bridge have been finished. Construction of the rest 100 meters is
going underway and is expected to complete around the New Year's Day so
as to ensure that the main bridge can commence construction as scheduled.
