www.chinanews.cn 2005-09-06 16:42:35

On the morning of Sept. 5th, in Yan Brook, Xikou, Fenghua, Zhejiang,
ladies were washing clothes. Yan Brook located in the hometown of Chiang
Kai-shek (head of the Kuomintang Party and ruler of Nationalist China
before and during World War II) is an ancient brook of 1,000 years.
Nowadays, the ancient view of life of "clothes-washing ladies by the
brook" reappeared by this ancient brook.
