Hongyao customs in remote mountains

A Hongyao woman from Dazhai Village, Heping Township, Longsheng
Pan-nationalities Autonomous County, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region
guided tourists during the National Day holiday. In recent years,
supported by the local government, Dazhai Village where Hongyao ethnic
group (a branch of Yao minority ethnic group) congregate relies on its
spectacular Jinkeng terrace to develop ecological tourism industry. With
revenues from tourism, the Hongyao people in remote mountains have
increasingly improved their standards of living.
