China to offer free agricultural MBA education

Chinanews, Sept.3 - As measures to help solve the three basic problems of
" agriculture, farmers and the rural area" in agricultural institutions
of higher learning, starting this year, China Agricultural University
will train 1000 MBA for free in three years for the frontline of the
primary industry and launch a series of new practical courses
specifically targeting agricultural economy.
The initial batch of sixty members of frontline agricultural management
personnel and representatives of major farms from economically backward
regions and major agricultural provinces like Inner Mongolia and Shaanxi
have entered the classrooms of China Agricultural University and have
begun the one-year MBA degree program.
