A photo shop's photographer took outdoor wedding photos for a newlywed at
the beach in Shandong's Rizhao City on the afternoon of October 4. The
"golden week" of the National Day holiday is the high season for
weddings, irrespective of the Chinese folk saying that this year is not
suitable for marriages, being a "widow's year".

Newlyweds were seen at the beach in Shandong's Rizhao City on the
afternoon of October 4.

Abulaiti Maijun, an acrobat of a Xinjiang acrobatic troupe, steped down
from a house in the sky where he lived for 38 days in a water park in
Urumchi, Xinjiang, Oct. 8, 2005. His long staying in the sky challenged
the Guinness world record of Dawazi (in Uygur means high-altitude wire
walking).
